koalas!
I had a wonderful weekend! On Thursday was St. Patrick's day so I went to the one and only Irish pub in Wollongong and had a green beer! On Saturday my roommates and I all went to Sydney for the day in celebration on one of the girls' birthday. We went to the koala park and got to pet one (not Vera!), but not hold him because it is illegal except in Queensland. I also pet many kangaroos and took plenty of pictures. Well, my roommates did. My camera is pretty dead. It doesn't turn on all the time and sometimes it freezes or won't turn off. Luckily all 6 of us have cameras, so we took tons of photos. I am on my roommate's computer right now, so I will post a few pics from her collection.

Not Vera? Well, one cannot have everything! Dad is a wee bit off the Vera obsession for a moment because since our guest bathroom is "All Winnie, all the time" I bought him a Winnie the Pooh bear in Disneyland. Don't tell Vera! Sure was good to talk to you at last today. Happy Easter!
